So, 2009 was one heck of a year. Many ups and downs. Filled with so many memorable moments. In this post, I would like to go through all of the memorable moments, not BEST moments, but MEMORABLE moments, regardless of whether it was a good or bad moment. Anyways, lets get started :
1)Man Utd asia tour
-I miss this day :( Haha. Went to see my favourite football team, Manchester United FC live in Bukit Jalil. Whoa, it was PACKED. Haha. Met some of my cousins and uncles there. But we went in separately cuz we had different tickets. I went with my bro. The atmosphere is like, WHOA. And I am NOT exagerating(however u spell that). It was really an awesome atmosphere, with all the fans cheering. Aww <3 My dreams came true, watching them play live :) Man Utd eventually won 3-2. And I gotta admit, Malaysia didn't play badly at all. Proud of them! HAHA.
2)Michael Jackson's death
-The one and only King of Pop passed away on the 25th of June due to a cardiac arrest. He was 51 years old. He will be dearly missed, since he has been an idol to many people. He WAS, he IS, and WILL STILL be the greatest entertainer of all time. R.I.P. Michael Jackson, you are one in a million, and we will never forget you :)
3) Champions League finals 2008/2009
-Barcelona FC vs Manchested United FC. Spanish club versus English club. Unfortunately, Barcelona ended up being the winners. And despite being a die-hard Man Utd fan, I have to admit that Barcelona deserved to win. They played better. Iniesta played really well. So did Xavi. And they also won it fair and square. So, congrats Barca. But watch out for next year, we're coming for ya! :) Haha.
4)Wimbledon finals 2009
-Roger Federer vs Andy Roddick. Roger ended up victorious. And I gotta say, I've never ever ever seen Andy play this well before. I was sooo proud of him. The match went on to a tie-breaker. The final score was 5-7 7-6 7-6 3-6 16-14. I ended up crying when he lost ;( It was really heart-breaking to see him play that well, and end up losing. And seeing him tearing up during the prize-giving ceremony. But still, hes an awesome player. Hope he becomes champion next year :)
5)Meeting the tennis players at Mandarin Oriental hotel
-A day to remember. Went to Mandarin Oriental. Waited for soo long, didn't see any players. Dad got frustrated, so he decided to go home. He left me there alone! LOL. So, I was alone. Goin around talking to random people, including one Japanese dude. Hes so awesome! I love him! Haha :) Anyways, I eventually got bored at called Shazlin to come and join me. And she did! <3 Thanks woman. So, I met Lleyton Hewitt, Nikolay Davydenko, Robin Soderling(<3) and Marcos Baghdatis. Got a pic with Robin, and an autograph from all of them. Thanks guyssss! :)
6)Prefects' installation day
-OMG. U have no idea how nervous I was on this day. I was almost planning on being absent. LOL. Cuz, I had no idea how to crowd was gonna react when they announced my name to collect my badge and tie. Are they gonna boo? Are they gonna cheer? I was so afraid cuz I thought they were gonna boo. Especially those form 4M ssu. -.- But, when my name was called, people cheered, instead of booing! Yay, thank you guys so much for cheering.Ily guys <3
7)ATP Malaysian Open 2009 tennis semi-finals
-It was cool. We came late -.- The road was super jammed up. My dad even hesitated to go home, but I forced him to keep going. We arrived at the middle of the first set. I got sooooo hyper when I saw Fernando Verdasco <3333 OMG. Haha. I even made a sign that said,''Marry me Verdasco!" in spanish. xDD First match was Robin Soderling vs Nikolay Davydenko. Nikolay won. 2nd match was Fernando Verdasco vs Fernando Gonzalez. Verdasco won. haha. Great moment :)
8)Meeting Anna Kournikova at National Tennis Centre, Jalan Duta
-Haha she arrived quite late. But when she did, we cheered. She started off with a speech, and then an autograph session, then finally a photograph session. I got a picture with her! Haha, thanks Anna :)
9)My birthday
-28th September. Haha school was cool. People wished me! Hehe, thanks guys. Then after school, my dad brought me to this restaurant. And he told me that all of our relatives are gonna be there. Whoa. I didn't know lol. Thanks for coming, ROOTS members <3
10)PMR day
-Haha people were nervous. OMG, I cant believe I forgot to bring my exam slip! I panicked. Haha, but then Pn Sathvin and Pn Siti told me not to worry about it :) The whole day was quite epic. Haha, people worrying, panicking, studying continously. Godwin wished me good luck!! HAHA. Thanks Godwin :)
11)SSU Prize Giving Day
-Damn, I had to give a speech. Scary stuff. Since Pei Ting didn't wanna do it, so I was kinda forced to do it. Was kinda nervous, but when I started doing it, I got the hang of it :) "Good job. Im proud of you" -Mrs Singh. That was the most shocking thing I've ever heard in my life.
12)Sri Utama annual camping trip
-Haha it was fun. Me and Shazlin went. I dont wanna elaborate on this. Its too long. Just go on facebook and view my pictures of the trip :)
13)PMR results day
-Nervous like hell. But when I got there, Mr How gave me my results immediately. 4As! Wow, I was expecting only 1 or 2 As. But that feeling was amazing! Haha. I was so happy :) Especially since I got an A for science. That was the subject that I worked the hardest for :)
14)Adam Rodriguez replying me on Twitter
-Haha eventhough he only said one word to me, and that was,''Hello!", I will still cherish it for the rest of my life. Hehe, thank you so much Adam <3
15)Guitar performance
-I had to do a group performance in Wangsa Walk mall. We played 2 songs. Cant Help Falling In Love and 21 Guns. It was quite fun, playing with the band and all :) Im looking forward to more of these performances :)
16)Paintball at Kklub. So, me, Shazlin, Jeng Yuan, Jason, Ka Tat, Khai Siang, Shannon, Pack Ping, Sheng Loong. I cant remember if I missed out on anyone. If I did, sorry yo! Haha. It was fun. But if u get hit by a paintball, it hurts. Like HELL. But the whole experience was fun :)
17)Sheamus becoming new WWE champion
-He defeated John Cena in a tables match. He got lucky lol. But I tink hes a better wrestler than John. I mean, they're both good, but he's just a little bit better I think. His accent rocks, since hes from Ireland. Haha.
18)After-PMR activities
-Yeah, we did alot of cool things. I tried ice skating. Scary stuff. I fell down so many times. LOL. Shazlin, Farah and Tasya are pros. They were teaching me how to skate. But I sucked anyway. But it was still fun :P
19)First time trying Japanese food
-It was at Express Sushi, at Great Eastern Mall. The people there are so friendly. Haha. And I FELL IN LOVE WITH JAPANESE FOOD <3 Haha I just love it. I plan on going there every week. LMAO!
20)American Idol finale
-Kris Allen won. He beat Adam Lambert. Thats not possible! LOL, okay maybe it is. Congrats Kris!
21)Sir Bobby Robson's death
-Aww :( R.I.P. Sir Bobby :(
